Detox


You have all kinds of toxins and chemicals in your body just from your everyday life. These can build up inside of your body and cause you a wide array of problems. About once every three monthes you should cleanse your body. many people have heard of colon clenses but if you can find it a total body clense is much better, however a colon clense is better then nothing.
One favrite for many people is The Master Clense. It has been around about sixty years and claimes to clense every organ, cell, and pore of your body. It is rather strick and you should consult your doctor before attempting it.
start the night before your clense with fresh juice.
Then next day and for the next ten days you will be drinking nothing but "spicy lemonaid"  6 - 12 times aday.
one cup water
juice of about half a lemon
1/10 tea cyenne pepper
2 tablespoons maple syrup.
I found I liked mine with less syrup.
After these ten days for one day drink only orange juice.
The next day have orange juice for breakfast, veggie soup for lunch and dinner
then you should be good to eat regular food again.

This should only be done once every three months if you manage to make it through it. other then doing a clense you should eat healty organic fresh produce that cleans out parts of your body.
Apples
Beets
Cabbage
cayenne
are just a few of the foods you can eat to help keep your body clean.

Melon, Blackberry, and Apple Detox
1/4 wedge galia or honeydew melon, peeled
1 cup blackberries, washed and hulled
3/4 cup apple juice

Place the melon and blackberries in a blender with the apple juice and blend until smooth.

Pour over ice if desired and serve.

Replace the blackberries with raspberries for a lighter smoothie.

               CARROT/DAIKON DRINK

This drink helps dissolve solidified fat deposits that exist deep within the body.

1. Finely grate 1/2 cup each of carrots and daikon. Place in a saucepan.
2. Add one cup of water and bring to a gentle boil.
3. Simmer for about three minutes and add a few drops of shoyu/soy sauce toward the end.
4. Add one-third of a sheet of nori and 1/2 an umeboshi plum to the saucepan, and continue cooking.
5. Eat the vegetables and drink the broth.

LEAFY GREENS JUICE

This drink helps dissolve heavy stagnated protein and animal fat.

1. Very finely chop two or three kinds of large leafy green vegetables (kale, collards, dandelion, daikon or turnip leaves, or Chinese cabbage).

2. Add twice the amount of water.

3. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for three to five minutes.

4. Add a pinch of sea salt or a few drops of shoyu/soy sauce toward the end of simmering and stir.

5. Drink hot or at room temperature

SPECIAL MEDICINAL DRINK - YIN

2 T grated burdock
2 T grated carrots
1/4 c carrot tops
2 T dried daikon
1/4 c daikon tops
1 medium whole shiitake mushroom
1/2 c roasted short grain brown rice
6 c water

Combine all the above ingredients. Simmer uncovered for 40 minutes, or until reduced to 2 cups. Drink _ cup four times a day.
